Thank You 2016 Reunion Sponsors

The 2016 reunion is on the books.  We had another fun-filled weekend at Winton Woods Park in Cincinnati, gathering 25 families who have adopted from Bulgaria.  Thanks to all who attended this year and helped make the reunion a success.

Friday, June 24

Check in at the park starts at 3:00 pm

5:00 pm - Meet & greet - please pick up your welcome bag at cabin 4H, some games and activities for the children will be available
5;30 pm - Balloon artist starts
6:00 pm - Pizza bar
7:00 pm - Icecream social
8:00 pm - Balloon artist ends

Saturday, June 25

8:30 - 9:30 am - Breakfast in the cul-de-sac (provided)
9:30 am - Group photo
10:00 – BG cooking lesson, Parky's Farm, and teen scavenger hunt
Noon - 4:00 pm -  family time to mingle, rest, or explore, have lunch, visit the splash park (tickets for the splash park for children ages 2-12 will be purchased with reunion funds and can be picked up at the cul-de-sac at noon, all other children are free) - PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN LUNCH

4:00 pm - Arts and crafts in the cul-de-sac
5:30 pm - Set up for potluck
6:00 pm - Potluck dinner
7:00 pm - Story teller arrives
8:00 PM - Smores

2016 Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet

Friends, we need help.  Please take a look at all the work which will have to be done to make the reunion a success and let us know where you can pitch in.  You can leave a comment or email me at viviane 8 at yahoo dot com.  We will have a sheet posted at the reunion with tasks and the names of those who volunteered to complete them, so that Yvonne and I can have a little more time to socialize with everyone, too.  If the job you volunteer to do requires any supplies, they will be ready for you.  Teens are invited to volunteer as well.

Pick up icecream from UDF - Rickenbach Family

Set up tables, chairs and decorate around 4:00 pm - Burgoon Family, Brooks Family, Martini Family

Fill up water balloons around 4:00 pm - Saltgaver Family, Scott R.

Sell raffle tickets throughout the afternoon/evening (pre/teens, I am looking at you) - JCB

Prepare, serve and clean up pizza bar 5:30 pm -  Angel N., Kurt B.

Set up, serve, and clean up the ice-cream social around 7:30 pm - Rani C., Kim V.

Collect garbage and transport to dumpster around 9:00 pm - Miller Family


Pick up coffee cake from Busken Bakery and sandwiches from Chick-Fil-A around 7:30 (about 30 min round trip) - Craig M.

Prep and set-up breakfast bar around 8:15 am and on - Rickenbach Family, Kay B.

Make coffee for breakfast and keep it coming 8:15 am - Jane B.
