Name This Reunion Contest

Every great event deserves a creative name, so we’re asking for your help in coming up with the perfect moniker for this reunion. We’re open to suggestions from young and old, Bulgarian-born and American-born, parents and children, friends and accidental visitors of this site. Anything goes, so put on your thinking caps and let’s name this reunion.

Hueston Woods Camping

1.  I am asking families to commit ASAP to camping reservations as we would like to have camp sites together.  And I will not be able to "block" the sites like a hotel.   
2. The area that I have been advised would work the best for our group is in area 4 (top road toward the left of the diagram). If you look to the cul-de-sac for C-19 thru C-11, C-25 thru C-32 and then from the playground to the shower house D-16 thru D-11.  The area is shaded with a tree lined area behind C19-C14.  I would like to fill-in as much as possible, please reserve one of the following sites and then we will move further right:C25-C29, D16-D14, and C19-C14.
3.  I have been told that those of you with large families (over the 6 person limit) are fine to reserve one site.  For the rest of us it is a 6 person limit if we share camp sites.  
4. I am hoping those families with older children reserve site D-16 thru D-11 which will alleviate little escapees from crossing the campground road located on that side of the site. 
5. I attached the diagram but it does not list specific sites.  Please go to the reservation system to see specific campsites.

2. Reservation Policy- first night is paid at registration as a deposit.  
3. Requires a 3 day prior to reservation cancellation for full refund of the deposit.

Invitation to the 2011: Bulgarian Adoptees Picnic/Reunion

WHO:   Families who have adopted, are committed to adopt, waiting to adopt, or considering to adopt a Bulgarian orphan. If you need to travel by "samuleta" (airplane), PLEASE let me know. 

WHEN:    July 22-24, 2011


WHERE:   Hueston Woods State Park, a very picturesque location just northeast of Cincinnati, OH. 

WHAT: 

• Bulgarian Cultural Activities
• Arts and Crafts
• Water Activities
• Hiking
• Bonfires

WHY: 

• Because we have adopted, are considering adoption, or are waiting to adopt an orphan from Bulgaria.
•  Because we will all have adoption experiences to share.  
• Because it will be wonderful to meet and share our stories
• Because it will let our little Bulgarians/Americans hang out and understand that they are not alone in their journey and assimilation into American culture.
• Because we plan to incorporate Bulgarian culture to keep our children's culture alive.
• Because the siblings of our Bulgarian children need to hang out and share their own stories about their Bulgarian brother(s)/sister(s).
• Because it is a great excuse to get away and to just have a... great time!
